The 10. Genthiner Staffellauf is an evening team relay held in Genthin's Volkspark and features club, company and school teams competing on a looped course. The event is organised and promoted via Alpha-Report and the programme for the day includes a main relay (the Staffellauf) as the principal competition. Teams typically comprise three to five runners who share laps on a 1,500-metre circuit, with categories for female, male, mixed and Schüler (students).
The event day also includes race support such as a warm-up led by the Shivanja team and on-site start materials from early afternoon, plus optional team services like a 3x3 metre tent rental in the start–finish area. Results and registration are handled through the pages linked on the organiser's event site. The race emphasizes community participation and school involvement, and awards are presented to the fastest teams in each category.
